What are the highlights of your career accomplishments?
Being a professor and academic dean, and my time in NGO leadership.

What are your favorite species and/or landscapes?
My favorite species is the cedar tree and my favorite landscape is the ocean.

Why are you passionate about conservation? To keep a balance between nature and humans, the challenge of sustainable development and conservation.

What gives you hope? I get motivation from people and the actions of other NGOs.

What activities do you enjoy in your spare time? I spend my free time traveling around the world and promoting environmental values, hiking and being involved in my community.
