Carol Baudler, Director of Conservation Campaigns, has worked for The Nature Conservancy since 1979. A specialist in conservation funding and policy, she brings her extensive experience in government relations, public fundraising initiatives, and conservation ballot measures to bear in her advisory work with a wide range of the Conservancy?s state and international programs. During her career Carol has worked with a variety of partners to create funding initiatives at the state and local level for the conservation of habitat, parks, and open space. As Director of Government Relations in California she oversaw successful campaigns for statewide conservation bonds in 2000 and 2002 that raised more than $10 billion. She took up her present position in the Conservancy?s Worldwide Office in 2002 to work on high-leverage ballot measures in the US and internationally.
